Travel Destination Senior Session | Purpera Style Seniors

Throwing caution to the wind and deciding to book a session in a gorgeous destination location is not for everyone. It is for the gypsy soul, adventure seeking and anything but ordinary senior.

Two years ago I decided to give this a go. I had no idea what the result would be if I even offered this option, but low and behold a few decided this was for them. So I packed up my HMUA Shelly Hogan and whisked a couple girls away to a VERY exclusive and gated Sandestin Florida location. All of our session locations, restaurants, beaches and shopping were right out our back door. It was right after COVID lockdowns were lifted so it was very interesting time. These girls were ready to pack up their gorgeous moms and GET OUT OF TOWN for some fun in the sun and EPIC image making.

While some are just looking to make a few nice photos to remember their senior year some are looking for a way to add to the experience of their senior year and this was a perfect way to do that. Our group ate together each evening and every day of sessions was planned out to a T, fully styled and Shelly put the finishing touches on our looks with full hair and makeup. Our locations in Sandestin ranged from beach, hotel pool top, merry-go-round, around the little town, arcade and evening sessions.

Below is a little gallery of images made on Purpera Style Seniors very first destination sessions. I love the unique settings as well as what every guest brings to the location. My goal was to give each girl a wide range of styles in their gallery from fun and beautiful to totally ICONIC, we achieved the goal and made some pretty fun memories in the process.

The destination session link will be live in "The Shop" mid to late March when regular senior sessions go live. If you are looking to get out of the cold and out of your box, take a chance, make some friends and pretty sick images in a gorgeous location will do it! Come get away with us and add to your senior year experience in a way that only a few can.

These sessions will come with a MN senior sessions as I feel my seniors and their parents will want to have something from home to add to their finished gallery of images. Senior Model Team '24 is welcome to use their "MODEL FEE" towards this session as well. I hope a few more will decide to pack up and come along. We have both guys and girls this year making the trip, they are a very cool and chill crew so hanging with us will be nice and easy for any personality.

Past Senior Model Team's & How '24 Crew Will Be Different!

Below are some AMAZING young people who started back with me in 2016,2019 and 2020. These are the only year I had run Model Crew's. I loved every second of these styled and fun sessions. The difference was I offered them to ALL my seniors, sometimes they brought friends and that was great. the more the merrier! You can tell from the logo's on some that there are some years between teams and each crew had their own vibe for sure.

Our Model sessions range from individual and styled to full on team shoots that were fully style. The in-between years were fun too as I have so many sports kids that MODEL TEAM'S seem to be a bit tougher for them and with all of their commitments it really is hard to offer these special sessions to each client. This was past years, there are some things I loved about the way we executed the season and some things I did not. So the difference this year is I will only be using my model team for extra shoots along with their MN senior session. There is a flat rate of $450.00, HMUA is extra but oh so worth it.

Lately I have missed working closely on executing some fun, unique and Iconic looks with my clients and decided this year to make a TRUE MODEL TEAM for class of 2024. A true crew that gives back (one event we all do together) one that is able to do group, holiday, ICON and individual sessions. As I am getting ready to go set up my office for my first set of "Welcome Sessions" I am loving looking back at some of these moments from past crews and looking forward to what our new year has in store with a new group of young adults.

The '24 Crew will be a bit "BRANDED" we will have SWAG! Hats and tank\T-shirts to wear during our second styled shoot in the spring. Welcome bags and packets will be given at our first viewing night! Yep a viewing night where we will gather and view our images together. QR codes will be given to each of my crew to pass on information to friends and family. My goal is to create a special experience this year for this group that is full of gorgeous images, fun moments and memories made that your senior is able to look back on for a long time to come. I hope we all develop a great bond this year and an environment where each senior feels comfortable to be themselves, support one another and encourage each other.

What to do with them now???

Well you have made your EPIC senior pictures, now what on the good green earth will you do with ALL of those super cool, fun, full of personality shots???? Well here are a few fun ideas to toss around before. you think of just adoring your digital senior gallery in your phone.

Grad Party Decorations: There are so many fun ways to display your images. Print them all out and make table top center pieces with each image. Have Amy Lynn print each image in a fun "old school" polaroid style and place on clips on your photo board display. Albums or mini photo books to sign. Purpera Style gives you two whole pages in your Heirloom album for personal photos from your phone in the middle of your album to either display for keepsake moments, or have friends and family sign in-between images.

Table Top Centerpieces\Displays: This is the most fun idea. I have a wonderful creative mom who executed this beautifully at her gorgeous son's graduation. She put one image in each floral display on the tables and it was fun to look around at each table centerpieces which created the perfect showcase for her son's unique images. Other than prints, other fun products are Acrylic Blocks, Photo Books and Framed Matted Individual Images (making things interactive and singable by guests are so fun!!!

Albums: I LOVE albums, they are my product of choice. Albums range in size from 5x5 to 12x12. Most popular with my seniors are 10x10 size, and with the two full spread personal pages of their favorite memories and individual selected colors and materials PS albums are truly personalized by each guest.

Wall Art: Each guest of mine should have that one image, that one image that screams "Wall Art." Something of an iconic look or fun personality shot or shots that would rock any wall in your home. There are endless ways to display images from the framed to the gallery style frameless mounted images. Along with the feel or vibe you select to display the materials are endless as well ranging from metal, wood, mounted to glass and large acrylic.

Polaroid Wallets\Dorm Decor: Well who doesn't love a little fun, whimsical and vintage in their room or dorm. I love the polaroid inspired frame prints my lab creates for my clients. The end product is fun and gives a nostalgic vintage feel to any wall in your room and is a unique way to display your senior images.

Gifts For Family: Photos are always a perfect gift for family. There are a ton of ways to create something unique inside your own personal gallery from Purpera Style. From mugs, photo books, Christmas ornaments and single framed prints the sky is the limit and the receiver will have a pretty cool keepsake for a life time.

Posting Anywhere: Wherever you are spending time social online is a great place to post your highly coveted digital files. They are a part of all our collections for a reason, they are immediate, fun and useable right away. I strive to grab some great laughing, fun and more personality shots of each guest for this very reason, so please use them how you wish.
